Between 1994 and 1999 Berik Kaniyev managed his own oil processing and distribution business and worked as President of KBK Ltd, President of Kazneftecom Ltd and President of Neco Ltd. From 1998 to 1999 Berik Kaniyev was Vice-president of National Oil and Gas Company KazakhOil. He then served as Independent Advisor to the Prime-Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 1999 to 2001.
At present, Berik Kaniyev also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Syrymbet JSC and Member of the Board of Directors of ERSAI LLP. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) Kazakhstan. Berik Kaniyev is actively involved in a number of social projects. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Non-commercial JSC Republican Physics and Mathematics School (RPMS), a co-founder of its Alumni Fund and member of its Alumni Committee. An avid supporter of youth football, he is also a founder of Arlan football club and president of Kazakhstan League of Children-Youth Football Zhas Kyran.
Berik Kaniyev was born in 1970 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. He is a graduate of Kazakh State University and holds an executive MBA degree from Duke University in the U.S. Berik Kaniyev is married and has four children.
Between 1993 and 2002, Yuriy Pak worked in wholesale and retail trade sector of consumer goods, oil products and industrial equipment. Yuriy Pak was one of the founders of KBK LLP Corporation. He was Deputy General Director at KBK LLP Corporation from 1993 to 1997 and subsequently worked as the company’s General Director from 1997 to 1999. He served as Head of Sales and Marketing of Oil Products Department at the national oil and gas company, KazakhOil in 1999 and 2000. Yuriy Pak then worked again at KBK LLP Corporation as Deputy General Director between 2000 and 2002. From 2002 to 2004 he was Unit Manager at ERC Holdings LLC and from 2004 to 2006 he served as Director of Lancaster Group Pte Ltd.
Yuriy Pak currently also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of ERSAI LLP.

Venera Barzamova served as Financial Director of Lancaster Group from 2005 to 2014. From 2003 and 2005 she held a position of Chief Accountant at Lancaster Group’s tin mining company Syrymbet JSC. Before joining Lancaster Group, between 1993 and 2003, Venera Barzamova had built up extensive experience in accounting, audit and taxation, working at KBK LLP Corporation and DALA Telecompany LLP.
Venera Barzamova was born in 1967. She holds a degree in Mathematics from Kazakh State University and a Financial Management certificate from the University of International Business. She is also a CAP Certified Accounting Practitioner (International Council of Certified Accountants and Auditors), holds a certificate on “Practical aspects of the transition to international standards of IFRS and GAAP” (Leading Ventures Associates with participation of ATC International, London Stock Exchange), as well as certificates on “International Financial Reporting Standards”, “Management Accounting” and “Taxation, Basic Legislation” (Institute of Professional Accountants and Auditors of the Republic of Kazakhstan). Venera Barzamova is married and has two children.
From 2000 to 2002 Kassym Abzhanov held the position of Head of planning and analytical department at Accept Corporation. Between 2002 and 2004 he was Senior Management Accountant at Agip Kazakhstan North Caspian Operating and subsequently worked as Deputy Chief Accountant in 2004 and 2005. He then served as Finance Manager and Chief Accountant at ERSAI LLP from 2005 to 2006. From 2006 to 2010 Kassym Abzhanov worked as CEO of Lancaster Group.
Kassym Abzhanov was born in 1977 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. He is a graduate of Kazakh Academy of Management and holds an MBA from Mays School of Business at Texas A&M University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst ® designation. Kassym Abzhanov is married and has three children.
