ERSAI Caspian Contractor greatly supports healthy lifestyle and sport activities. For this purpose ERSAI initiated construction of the Sport Centre in Kuryk village and invested USD 1,000,000. The opening of the new venue was held on the eve of Kazakhstan Independence Day on the 16th of December 2005. The Centre offers a wide range of facilities and hosts various sport competitions among local residents as well as neighboring villages and CIS countries.

KKM Operating Company provided financial aid of USD 1,400 to the Temir regional affiliation of the Public Organization of Veterans. In the same month, KKM OC made a contribution of USD 700 to the Kazakh Society for the Blind (Aktobe regional affiliation).

Following a request from the Children’s Fund of Mangistau Oblast and in conjunction with the children’s support programme, ERSAI Caspian Contractor purchased necessary school equipment for Gymnasium No.1 located in Kuryk village. ERSAI also arranged transportation logistics for school children residing in remote districts of Kuryk village.

It is necessary to emphasize the social policy of ERSAI Caspian Contractor regarding veterans and indigent families of Kuryk settlement. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Victory Day, ERSAI Caspian Contractor purchased colour TV sets as a donation to the Veterans Home in Kuryk village.


April

Aktobe city administration initiated construction of a large-scale mosque and established the “Aktobe Mesheti” Public Foundation. KKM OC contributed USD 37,000 to the foundation in support of this construction project.


March

ERSAI Caspian Contractor’s response to requests for helping seriously ill patients has resulted in the sponsorship of USD 199,000 for their treatment. One of the patients first approached ERSAI was Ozengali Alenov from a remote village. Ozengali received financial aid for a kidney transplantation, which was successfully completed in China.
