KKM Operating Company (KKM OC) announced its results of activities for 2004 with oil production at 116,000 tons.

KazInvestBank’s (KIB) common shares passed the “A” listing requirement on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).

March 2005
KKM Operating Company signed an agreement with the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) on oil transportation. The Caspian Pipeline Consortium is an international consortium, majoring in oil export from Kashagan and Karachaganak fields, West Kazakhstan Oblast.

April 2005
ERSAI Caspian Contractor LLC reported an opening of a training school on the Yard. The training centre will provide training and qualification programmes for welders, pipe fitters, steel carpenters and other workers. Equipped with all necessary materials, the training centre is fully operational and provides dedicated training instructors.

Alimbek Seidullayev was appointed as President of Lancaster Invest. Mr Seidullayev also serves as Chairman of TNS Plus, a Member of the Board of Directors of Orica Kazakhstan, G-Media JSC and RTS Perekrestok. He previously held positions of President of TNS Plus corporation and Chairman of the Board of Directors of IPNet JSC.

In collaboration with APA Petroleum Engineering (Canada), KKM Operating Company (KKM OC) launched its pilot project on the development of viscous oil in Kumsai field. APA Petroleum Engineering Inc. is an international petroleum engineering consultancy providing cost-effective solutions to the evaluation and development of oil & gas resources.

IPNet performed installation of NOC DIRECWAY 7000, the newest broadband satellite system. The new system incorporates proven technologies and modern solutions to build multi-service communication networks. Direcway offers clients a wide range of multi-media services.

June 2005
IPNet started using a GEO satellite KA Yamal-201. According to Comsys-2005, a leading IT staffing and solutions company, IPNet was announced to be one of the five biggest satellite network operators in Russia.

Lancaster Invest announced the appointment of Nurzhan Zhanabekov as First Vice-President of the company. Mr. Zhanabekov previously held a position of Vice-President at Accept corporation.

The Board of Directors of ККМ Оperating Сompany (KKM OC) adopted the Corporate Management Code.

ERSAI Caspian Contractor welcomed the visit of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan to introduce the ongoing operational activities of the Yard.
