KKM Operating Company (KKM OC) reported its 2005 results of activities with oil production at 103,000 tons.

KazInvestBank (KIB) acted as an arranger and a subscription agent for the first local currency issue of 10-year bonds by JP Morgan Chase Bank on the Kazakhstan market in the amount of KZT 13,2 billion.

IPNet became the first in the Russian Federation to use the HughesNet HN7700, a high-performance broadband satellite router designed to provide high-speed access for large enterprise, government, and small/medium enterprise (SME) markets. The company became a leader in providing satellite network services for top Russian retailers.

KKM Operating Company (KKM OC) announced the arrival of a new member to the Board of Directors, Andrey Shovkoplyas. Mr. Shovkoplyas replaced Mr. M. Sapargaliyev whose authorities expired by that time.

Lancaster Invest informed that the credit facility line in the amount of $5.3 million was approved for G-Media JSC by the Kazakhstan Development Bank. G-Media is a local telecommunications company, which was acquired by the Advant Venture Fund in December last year.

The Articles of Association of KKM Operating Company (KKM OC) was approved in a new edition to meet current legislative requirements.

ERSAI Caspian Contractor LLC started works on erection and assembly of a tower crane with capacity of 1000t and 40m aim. The tower crane is a unique equipment in the Caspian Sea which allows loading on and out the structures from the operational Yard.

Lancaster Invest signed a master franchise agreement with the National Institute for Information Technology (NIIT), India. The global IT Learning Solutions Corporation, NIIT is known for its pioneering work in the field of IT education and training. Lancaster Invest also reported the establishment of the information technology institute FuturTech LLP by the Advant Venture Fund and a private investor.

June 2006
ERSAI Caspian Contractor LLC performed works on fabrication of piles and flares. This scope of works was initiated under the agreement signed with AGIP KCO for Kashagan project. It was reported that 44 piles, 6 flares, 2 flares jackets and towers have been produced. ERSAI Caspian Contractor LLC also informed of prefabrication, assembly and erection of ancillary steelworks and pipe racks for a total of 7000 tons.
