
ERSAI was founded in November 2003 as a Kazakhstani company through the merger of the Kazakh business group ERS Holdings, which owns 50% of the shares (a limited liability partnership established under the laws of Kazakhstan), as well as Saipem International B.V., which owns 50% of the shares (ENI Group Company), with extensive global experience and facilities and capabilities in areas of marine and onshore construction and installation works.
The registered office of ERSAI is located in Moscow. Almaty, administrative office in Almaty. Aktau, representative office in Aktau. Atyrau, industrial facilities in the village of Kuryk, Mangystau Province (ERSAI Caspian Shipyard), located in a coastal zone covering an area of about 220 hectares in Mangystau Province, Karakiya District, Kuryk Village, 70 kilometers south of Aktau. All the works performed by ERSAI were carried out in Kazakhstan.
ERSAI operates based on Saipem's international experience, its technologies and standards obtained during the construction of approximately a hundred refineries, petrochemical enterprises, the construction of more than sixty thousand kilometers of pipelines; the construction and installation of numerous platforms and submersible support structures that allow it to provide services in the sectors of oil exploration and production, oil refining, storage and transportation, as well as oil refining, distribution and marketing petroleum products, through the implementation of projects of considerable complexity.

Today, ERSAI is one of the leading companies in the country, fully equipped with all types of metal-cutting, bevelling, welding and painting equipment, as well as with a crane capacity of up to 1000 tons, which makes it possible to provide a very wide range of services to Customers.
