Our company “Lancaster Group Kazakhstan” has always tried to help its compatriots in difficult times, and this time during the declared emergency regime due to the spread of coronavirus infection, our company's management provided charitable assistance to families from socially vulnerable segments of the population of Almaty and Almaty region.
We have monitored charitable foundations and volunteer organizations in Almaty and contacted some of the volunteer organizations that provide direct targeted assistance to those in need. As a result, the volunteer organization “Welcome to Almaty” was selected and handed over a list of 40 families consisting of single mothers with many children, low-income families and disabled pensioners. It should be noted that many administrators of volunteer organizations say that assistance mainly comes to families within the city. The difficulty of supplying food, due to restrictions on traffic and pedestrian movement, is available at checkpoints to the region that need the most. Despite the difficulties in supplying families in need, the company managed to convey its care and assistance in the form of a grocery basket consisting of essential goods.
