
In honor of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Republican School of Physics and Mathematics, from April 30 to May 1, 2022, a grand chess tournament was held simultaneously in two cities — Nur-Sultan and Almaty rapid chess “RFMS Children's 50th Anniversary Chess Cup”. The total prize fund of the competition was 2,000,000 tenge. As the main prize, 4 grants were awarded to study at RFMS schools. The chess tournament brought together 322 participants in Nur-Sultan and 289 participants in Almaty.
Today, the winners of 4 RFMS grants among boys and girls have been announced: Aldiyar Ansat, Yasmina Alemanova, Alikhan Daulet and Adelya Ospanova.

At the end of the tournaments, award ceremonies were held in two cities, which were attended by international grandmaster Darmen Sadvakasov, international grandmaster Zhansaya Abdumalik, Director of the Russian Football Academy in Nur-Sultan Ruslan Kaliev, Director of the RFMS in Almaty Almaz Ordabayev, President of the Almaty Region Chess Federation and Taldykorgan Sayat Egenberdiev, and Executive Director Anuar Ismagambetov.
