The Kazakhstan Chess Federation, together with the Republican School of Physics and Mathematics, are presenting the most significant event of the year — the “RFMS Children's Chess Cup” with a total prize fund of 2,000,000 tenge and the provision of 4 grants to study at the Republican School of Physics and Mathematics.
The RFMS Children's 50th Anniversary Chess Cup consists of two tournaments and will be held April 30 to May 1, 2022 simultaneously in cities Almaty and Nur-Sultan. The Cup prize fund and training grants apply to both tournaments in Nur-Sultan (1,000,000 tenge and 2 grants to study at the RFMS) and Almaty (1,000,000 tenge and 2 grants to study at the RFMS).
Boys and girls born in 2006 and younger are invited to participate in the RFMS 50th Anniversary Cup.
Tournaments are held in 9 rounds according to FIDE rules, according to the Swiss system regulated by the “Swiss-Manager” computer draw. Time control — 10 minutes+5 seconds for every move made by each participant.
The tournament fee is 3000 tenge. Applications for participation will be accepted until April 22, 2022, at the following email addresses:

The general management of the organization and conduct of the Cup is carried out by the Kazakhstan Chess Federation together with the Republican School of Physics and Mathematics and the Chess Federation of Almaty Region.
