On September 6, in Ak-Orda, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev presented state awards to citizens of our country who stood out during the tragic events and during the liquidation of the consequences of the explosions at the ammunition depot on June 24 this year in the city of Arysi. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the contribution of the country's businessmen who have invested considerable funds to restore houses in Arys. Among those awarded, the President presented the Order of Kurmet to Berik Seralievich Kaniev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lancaster Group Kazakhstan. “The city street was renovated with the cash of businessman Berik Kaniev. And there are a lot of such examples of patriotism among our citizens. It is precisely on such vivid examples of patriotism and selfless mutual assistance that we should educate our young people. The hard work and enthusiasm of the builders made it possible to restore the city in the shortest possible time,” the Head of State added.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that 97% of the facilities have now been renovated, primarily with houses for large families having been rebuilt. On September 1, 16 schools with 12,000 students opened their doors, 2,500 of them went to first grade.
