The master's program is designed for employees of non-governmental organizations and charitable foundations, as well as for business and government representatives interacting with the NGO sector.
According to the Ministry of Culture and Information, there are now more than 18,000 active non-governmental organizations operating in Kazakhstan that are changing our education, science, sports, supporting socially vulnerable segments of the population, and so on.
“We are seeing the rapid development of non-profit organizations and an increase in civil society activity. However, at the moment, Kazakhstan does not have a single active educational program that would prepare personnel to work with social and charitable projects,” said Gulnar Dosayeva, founder of the Dos.Co private foundation.
The training includes the experience and expertise of professors at Narxoz University, heads of large local foundations and visiting professors from the Higher School of Economics with experience in establishing and developing the non-profit sector in the CIS. The duration of the program is 1 year.
In addition, there are educational grants from Narxoz University and from the Dos.Co private foundation. For admission, you must provide a copy of your higher education diploma, resume and employment certificate. It should be noted that the recruitment of applicants is scheduled to start on December 1, 2023.
