The Kazakhstan Golf Federation launched the Children's Golf School on the initiative and with the support of the President of the Kazakhstan Golf Federation, Berik Kaniev. The golf school opened its doors to 600 children at the NURTAU and Zhailjau golf clubs in Almaty, at the Burabai Golf Club in Shuchinsk, at the Astana Golf Club in Astana and at sports schools in Ust-Kamenogorsk and Kostanay.

The 2023 season will run from June 1 to October 31 this year in open fields. After the season, training sessions will be transferred to indoor facilities. Children will study in two age groups aged 7—9 and 10—12 years.

One of the main features of the program is that training will be free of charge. All necessary sports equipment (clubs, balls) will also be provided free of charge. The training will be conducted by qualified trainers with extensive experience.

Berik Kaniev, President of the Kazakhstan Golf Federation, noted: “We strive to create a favorable environment for the development of golf in Kazakhstan and our attention to young players is an important step in this direction. We hope that the Children's Golf School will be a great place for children who want to learn and succeed in this game.”

The children's golf school offers children a unique opportunity to learn skills in this sport. Golf, included in the Olympic Games program, has great potential in Kazakhstan and the Children's Golf School will contribute to the development and education of talented domestic athletes.
