On September 13, 2022, the Fizmat Green project was officially launched at RFMS Almaty. The initiators and organizers of this project are the school's Ministry of Ecology, represented by its leaders - 10L grade student Alain Aisha and 10K grade student Arzu Nabirova. The project was supported by ECO Network (econetwork.green) and Jusan.
The Republican School of Physics and Mathematics was one of the first institutions to introduce this model. Its advantage is to involve children in managing the process of introducing separate waste collection and creating an eco-culture in all neighboring institutions: cafes, restaurants, shops, pharmacies, workshops. These institutions will not deal with environmental issues on their own. Children will become guides and mentors for them.
The “Green School” project from ECO Network is designed to become the eco-center of its microsite in all cities of Kazakhstan. In addition to the implementation of the project in the RFMS in September 2022, this model is planned to be launched in other schools in Almaty, Khromtau, Aktobe and the Kostanay region.
Then, as part of the project, a competition will be launched for eco-projects in which teams from each grade of our school will be able to take part. The best project will receive prizes from Jusan and will be able to take part in the Green School eco-festival, which is scheduled to be held in Almaty at the end of October at the end of October.
The goal of the project in 5-10 years is to unite all schools and universities into one big program for the formation of an eco-culture, separate waste collection and reasonable consumption. The school is the only system facility that exists in all settlements, and it is through it that the right values should be transmitted.
The Republican School of Physics and Mathematics in Almaty thanks ECO Network, represented by its head Evgeny Mukhamedzhanov, as well as Jusan management for the opportunity to realize the potential of our students for the sustainable development of Kazakhstan.
